Landscape - Panoramic Views

These paintings capture different essences of disparate habitats and moods from various points along the Pacific Flyway, but they share similar elements in their compositions: gentle, rolling lines, punctuated by the occasional vertical spike. There is something soft, soothing and sensual for me in the patterns these shapes and colors make. These works were all done at different times, in water and oil media, but the sensations of these lines and shapes remain similar, familiar. They keep calling me back.
